Christmas in Idaho Falls

December 2008~
The Season started with Issy singing in the choir at our Church~The Cathedral of the Rockies.


Issy and I celebrated a wonderful holiday season with our family in Idaho Falls. SO MUCH SNOW! We loved it! Issy made this snowman Baby Jesus.



Christmas Eve was full of fun at my brother Doug's house. Pulling kids on the sled, doing the traditional luminarias and eating Nancy's yummy baking were definitely highlights.

Luminarias lining the sidewalks have been a tradition for the Stewart family since we moved from New Mexico to Idaho Falls in the seventies...nice to see the tradition passed down to our kids (and grandkids).

Lordy, Lordy Sandy is 40!

It all started with these 40 beautiful roses Carter sent me! It ended by Carter throwing me a great party with my friends and family. A very rememberable and special birthday.

The Party "Harry Potter" and beautiful Presley...no really it is my sister in law Wendy! Good friend Teri and her husband Ron. Teri and my sweet Issy. The "Stewart" Girls....my sister Cindy, sister in law Wendy, niece Presley and Issy. Carter got a clown to entertain us all....my brother, Shane, was very entertained! The Issy and Presley Show II

Basketball Season has begun...

Isabelle is currently playing 5th grade basketball for our school! Yipee! She is having fun and I am so proud of her work ethic and aggressive play. She is so competitive (wonder where she gets that?). Oct 25th she trys out for the AAU Basketball team for our area high school. All the 5th graders from the 5 feeder schools try out for the team. They select the top 8-10 players for the team which will play basketball for the next few months against area and regional teams. Lots of prayers around 4 pm Saturday Oct 25th please :)
