July 4th in Idaho Falls

July 2009~

Isabelle and I headed to eastern Idaho for a fun filled 4th with family.  We had a great BBQ at Grandma Judy and Grandpa Butch's, went to the Idaho Falls Parade (where there was actually a PFLAG float....progress!) and a wonderfully fun and relaxing day at the BlackTail Res.  with family. Wonderful weekend!!!

Summer Vacation 2009

June 2009~

Right after BSU Camp, literally 1 hour after camp, Shane, Wendy, Presley, Issy and I were vacation bound.  We traveled to the Grand Canyon, New Mexico to visit relatives and Mesa Verde National Park.  An awesome time by all...a memorable time with family.

June 2009~

BSU Camp was a blast for Issy.  She had a great team, a great coach and ended up winning the Coaches Award!  Her 3 on 3 team also won the championship.  Great times had by all....and a very proud mama.

Trip to San Diego

March 2009~
I went to San Diego to attend a conference for work. In the evenings, I had to chance to catch up with dear friends. Sunday, Becca, a former college teammate, took my colleague Kathie and I to Coronado Island where we enjoyed a delicious meal at the Hotel Del. The sunset was beautiful and the atmosphere amazing. San Diego is a beautiful place.

Becca, Derek and Sara and I enjoyed a dinner Monday night at the C Level Restaurant. We had an excellent time catching up and laughing about college days and beyond!

All in all it was a wonderful trip. The conference was exciting and rejuvenating. Gives me hope for education and I cannot wait to get back and apply what I have learned. Catching up with everyone was priceless and reminds me once again of what is truly important in life~
